On Tuesday, the Office of the United States Attorney motion to dismiss their charges against Nathaniel Noyce of Glen Allen. In April 2024, Noyce was arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges including assaulting an officer during the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6.

The charging document alleges that Noyce struck an officer's face while inside the U.S. Capitol.

Noyce is also a member of the white nationalist organization Patriot Front. Noyce was one of the members that recently made a settlement for the civil lawsuit involving the defacement of the Arthur Ashe mural in Battery Park in 2021.

Patriot Front members spray painted over the image of the African-American tennis player with the group's fascist iconography. Noyce was identified by Unicorn Riot as one of the people defacing the mural.

The motion for dismissal was signed by Edward Robert Martin Jr. Martin, a recent appointment to the U.S. Attorneys under Trump. Martin is also the president of the Phyllis Schlafly Eagles and co-wrote the book The Conservative Case for Trump with the anti-feminist Phyllis Schlafly before her death in 2016.

Other white nationists have used Trump's blank pardons on January 6 to demonstrate their involvement that day. One such example from Central Virginia is Unite the Right organizer Jason Kessler. Kessler posted pictures of himself on the U.S. Capitol steps that had not been released prior. Kessler had never admitted to being in Washington DC on January 6.

Noyce is among the thousands of people to receive pardons or have their charges dismissed. Noyce's charges have been dismissed with prejudice meaning that the Federal government can never bring the charges back.
