Sorry, No Laws This Week.

Sorry, No Laws This Week.

Poor timing on my part. Currently sitting in my home that hasn't had running water in 30 hours. The city of Richmond is experiencing troubles with water. That means the 2025 Virginia Legislation Session will not begin on Wednesday. In a statement, Virginia Speaker of the House of Delegates Don Scott announced that Monday, January 10, will be the first day of the session.

Here's a little update on former Virginia State Senator Joe Morrissey as he enters his right-wing villain era. He went on the John Reid radio show last week to complain that the Democrats have gone too far to the left. Morrissey took a jab at transgender people and at abortion access.

Morrissey lost his primary back in June 2023 and has said he is "done with politics." I hope he means it.

Uh, if you're not support every progressive movement to the hilt, you are disenfranchised from the Democratic Party. And I think there's going to be enough Democrats that are saying, whoa, we've gone too far to the left."
