Youngkin Changes Song On Federal Employees

Back in August 2024, during a press conference, Glenn Youngkin was complaining about Federal government employees did not have to be in the office and how it was affecting Metro ridership. I asked Youngkin what would he do if those employees were to be fired in a Trump administration.
Youngkin told me, "The reality is that it is all speculative." Youngkin declined to state what he would do Trump began laying off 100,000 employees but Youngkin did say there were enough job openings for those that would need a new job
Even after the 2024 Election, Youngkin would not publicly say much about the Trump administration, even avoiding questions.
Donald Trump took a completely different approach, publicly denying that he knew anything about Project 2025 or removing hundreds of thousands of federal employees.
Yesterday CBS 6's Cam Thompson asked Youngkin about Trump as the administration Federal employees fear mass firings.
Youngkin said that this is "what President Trump is doing, he told everyone ahead of time."
